Hook Bolts, J-Bolts, or Bent Bolts have two designs used in rock quarries and mines. The J-Bolt Special Bend, otherwise known as Hook Bolt or Shaker Screen Bolt, supports angled ironed shaker screen frames. Resembling a checkmark, the bolt is heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 25/34 to improve resistance to bending.
