Female-female round standoffs are threaded fasteners which have female threads for connecting male threaded parts on each end. For a clean look, they have a round, smooth body and tighten by hand onto a screw. They are also used to provide a finished look with a standoff cap at one end, such as when installing glass panels on walls or desktops.
The female-female aluminum round standoffs are nonmagnetic and corrosion resistant with a clear or anodized black finish. They are widely used when a lightweight fastener is required, weighing less than steel, for example with electronics or aircraft parts.
