  Black Oxide Coating Process

  Oxidized surfaces have an excellent ability to absorb oils, waxes and lacquers.

  Chemical Film Process

  "Alodine" or "Iridite", Chemical Film is a common plating process used to protect aluminum surfaces.

  Electroless Nickel Plating

  E-Nickel gives a reflective layer of nickel phosphorus and provides a uniform coating, making post-machining unnecessary.

  Copper Plating

  Cyanide Copper plating provides good corrosion resistance when used as an undercoat for other plated coatings.

  Nickel Plating

  Nickel plating is commonly applied over copper for a decorative finish.

  Passivation

  Passivation is the process to remove "free iron" contamination on stainless steel.

  Silver Plating

  Silver electroplating has the highest electrical conductivity compared to other metals. Excellent lubricity & smear characteristics for anti-galling uses on static seals & bushings.

  Tin Plating

  Tin electroplating is used for corrosion protection, to facilitate soldering, to improve anti-galling characteristics and as a barrier in the nitriding of high-strength steels.

  Xylan Coating

  Xylan coating is commonly used in the oilfield industry as it has excellent non-stick and release properties, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and excellent lubrication and controlled friction.

  Zinc Plating

  Zinc plating is a soft, decorative, corrosion-resistant finish. It protects the substrate by sacrificing itself, corroding before the base metal. It protects even when slightly damaged on the surface.

  Zinc Phosphate

  Zinc Phosphate coatings are often used on steel parts to provide corrosion protection, lubricity, or as a pretreatment for additional coatings.
