Collar Lock Nuts / Stover Lock Nuts

Collar Lock Nuts, also known by the brand name Stover® lock nuts, are frequently used in farming, automotive, and metalworking industries because they can withstand shock loads and severe vibration. Collar lock nuts are one-piece, hex nuts with a conical top and a flat bottom bearing surface with chamfered corners. Their prevailing torque characteristics are created by an oval locking collar on top of the nut. AFT offers cadmium plated L-9 collar lock nuts with diameters ranging from 1/4" up to 1-1/2".
