Flare Nut Wrenches

Flare Nut wrenches are drop forged from steel bar, and they are similar to box end wrenches, except they do not completely encircle the nut. The special purpose, single end wrenches are designed for use on flare nuts and fittings on tubing assemblies of hydraulic, pneumatic and air conditioning equipment. The 12 point hex open box slips over the tubing, and the thick head face offers extra contact with the surfaces of the nut which helps to prevent the marring of fittings that sometimes occurs with standard open-end wrenches. Sometimes referred to as tube wrenches or line wrenches, flare nut wrenches are supplied with either a chrome or black finish.
