Angles, straps and braces join and reinforce joints with simple, multi-purpose solutions. Available in many lengths, widths and gauges, they provide a tension connection between 2 wood members. The MSTA series are 1-1/4 in. W medium-capacity strap ties. MITEK connectors are designed for code compliance, easy installation with commonly-available fasteners and high performance.

  • Made of 16-Gauge steel with G90 galvanized finish for improved corrosion protection
  • Requires 58 10d nails for installation (not included)
  • Meets code requirements in ICC-ES 3445, Florida FL17244 and L.A. City LABC ESR-3455
  • Nails must be equally distributed to both ends of the strap
  • Designer may specify alternate nailing schedules
