MiTek's THD series connectors are medium-to-heavy capacity face mount hangers. All THD connectors are made with either 16, 14, or 12-Gauge steel depending on size, and feature a G90 galvanized finish for improved corrosion resistance. For applications where a stronger hanger is needed, the THDH series is also available as an alternative. MiTek connectors are designed for code compliance, easy installation with commonly-available fasteners, and high performance.
- Complies with requirements in ICC-ES 3445, Florida FL17232, and L.A. city LABC ESR-3445 codes
- Requires 76 16d nails for installation (not included)
- Joist nails must be driven in at a 30° to 45° angle through the joist or truss into the header to achieve listed loads (see installation guide PDF)
- Standard length double shear nails must be used to achieve listed load values
- Designed for 6 x 12-14 joists and trusses
