MiTek PA post anchors are designed to secure wood posts to concrete footings. These post anchors also provide moisture damage protection and a 1-in. stand-off plate to elevate wood posts above concrete surfaces as required by building code. PA anchors utilize a 4-sided design to improve uplift capacity.
- G90 finish provides corrosion resistance
- Requires 16 16d nails and 1 1-/2-in. anchor bolt for installation (not included)
- Washer for anchor bolt is supplied with the post anchor
- Not recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fixed or fastened at the top) applications, not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads
- Not recommended for use with ACQ-treated lumber
