MiTek PAU post anchors are designed to secure wood posts to concrete footings. These post anchors also provide moisture damage protection and a 1-in. stand-off plate to elevate wood posts above concrete surfaces as required by building code. PAU anchors feature higher uplift resistance and optional bolt fastening to the post.
- G185 finish provides corrosion resistance and usability with ACQ-treated lumber
- Requires 12 16d HDG nails, 1-5/8-in. HDG anchor bolt and 2 1/2-in. HDG bolts for installation (not included)
- Washer for anchor bolt is supplied with the post anchor
- Not recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fixed or fastened at the top) applications, not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads
