The MiTek D series post anchors are designed to secure nominal sized posts to wood surfaces for light-duty applications. These anchors are made of 18 Gauge steel and are available in a variety of finishes and sizes to accommodate various installation needs. The D series post anchors also comply with major building codes when installed to specifications. Additonally, they use commonly available fasteners for easy and economical installation.

- Requires 15 16d HDG nails for installation (not included)
- Meets requirements in ICC-ES 3449, Florida FL17239, and L.A.City LABC ESR-3449 code reports

- Not recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fastened at the top) applications, not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads
- Not recommended as a primary means of anchorage for posts in railings
