This Mitutoyo dial caliper has a newly designed dial movement that delivers ultra-smooth sliding and high shock protection. The sliding surface has a titanium nitride (TiN) coating that increases resistance to wear and tear. Finally, the caliper is equipped with a lock screw for the dial bezel that also holds the sliding jaw position.
