Constructed of hardened stainless steel, this Mitutoyo dial caliper has improved durability due to the titanium nitride (TiN) coating on the sliding surfaces of the main blade. The caliper is also equipped with a lock screw for the dial bezel that holds the sliding jaw in position, allowing for accurate measurements. Additionally, the jaw tips are beveled on this model to allow for the measurement of small parts. The white dial face with black markings is easy to read.
