With origins as a metal finishing company, AFT Fasteners is uniquely able to utilize its in-house plating & coating facility to offer timely and cost-effective solutions, which other fastener companies aren't able to deliver. Metal Plating & Coating Capabilities
AFT has capabilities for high volume barrel plating for the fastener and screw industries, as well as rack plating for the production of most machined parts. Our supporting equipment includes 2 spray booth, 2 high-temp ovens, walk-in blast room, and blast cabinets. We’re able to meet most OEM, ASTM, and private specs for all our processes. Electroless nickel plating, silver plating, Xylan® coating, zinc nickel, zinc phosphate, and black oxide coatings are a few of our most sought after metal finishing processes, along with painted fasteners and painted fastener heads.
Purchase from AFT or Supply Your Own Parts
When having parts plated, coated, or painted at our metal finishing facility, AFT offers customers the option to either supply their own parts or purchase them directly through AFT. In most circumstances, buying the parts directly from AFT can be significantly less expensive due to lower shipping costs and our competitive pricing.
