Designed for the secure application of asphalt and fiberglass shingles on new construction and re-roofing jobs. Spiral shank provides extra holding power, especially in high wind/hurricane areas. STORMGUARD Double Hot-Dipped Zinc-Coating provides extra corrosion-resistance in sea coastal areas. Type 304 Stainless Steel Roofing Nails also available. Manufactured to meet federal spec. FFN-105-B and ASTM spec. A-153 for hot-dip zinc coating. Nails should be long enough to penetrate 3/4" into the wood deck lumber, or completely through plywood decking.
