Striking Face wrenches are special-purpose, single end, with a straight, 12-point opening at one end and a striking face anvil at other end. When tightening a nut, the thick end is perfect for use with a hammer, thus making tightening easier. Designed for heavy industrial service where nuts must be set up tight or "frozen" nuts loosened, they are drop forged from steel bar.
