    Very disappointed that this will not fasten into a slump block wall. Put a relief 1/4” down to thread and a 3/16” hole 1/2” past the end of the screw, but none of that helped. Screw won’t cut threads into slump block and concrete material just knocks off threads on fastener and just seizes at that point. Any further torque snaps the fastener at the thread to shank transition. It might work with other masonry, but won’t stand up to aged (hard) concrete material. Total waste of a 100 part count box.
